Surroundings

The surroundings of Hotel Gerardushoeve are breathtakingly beautiful. A walk in the Gulpdal valley will lead you past woodlands, meadows and flowing streams; a lovely challenge for Nordic Walkers. From the Gerardushoeve, you'll soon be at the Castle Ruins and the Velvet Caves in Valkenburg. Or you can drive a little further to enjoy a day out in Maastricht.

Food and Drink

The 'Burgundian' breakfast buffet is served from 08:00 until 10:00.You can catch up over drinks in the attractive courtyard, the atmospheric terrace or in the lounge. Select one of the twelve open wines, from white to sparkling, or discover one of the specialty beers. It's also possible to enjoy a light lunch or a cup of coffee with a slice of regional Limburg pie.A 4-minute drive or a 25-minute walk will take you to the hotel's panorama restaurant. If you don't wish to walk or drive there, you can take the free shuttle service. Restaurant Gerardushoeve is well known in the area, for its beautiful views as well its excellent cuisine. Local ingredients are used wherever possible. During the game season, for instance, you can enjoy game from the Vijlener Woods, exclusively served in four local restaurants.Three times a week, Hotel Gerardushoeve offers an 'Eetmee Special' (Dine Along Special), when hotel owner Huub serves his guests a delicious evening meal. It's ideal, as you won't need to head out!
