Surroundings
IJsselstein is a small town in the province of Utrecht established in the 11th century. It's one of the few places of pilgrimage in the Netherlands. In the 14th century, a statue of Mary was discovered in a field and a chapel was subsequently built on that very site. You'll also find remnants of the old city wall and gates next to the tower of the Steijne aan de IJssel Castle. And its lovely to go for walks and bike rides in the beautiful countryside, passing meadows, woods and water as you go.

An extensive breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:30 until 10:00, on Saturday from 07:00 until 10:00, and on Sunday from 08:00 until 10:30.For lunch or dinner, you can visit the restaurant, De Vierde Generatie. The kitchen is open from 12:00 until 21:00. Guests are welcome to have a drink at De Vierde Generatie until 22:30. The restaurant serves dishes from the regular menu in addition to seasonal dishes. You are recommended to book a table in advance. The restaurant is open throughout the week, except Wednesday. On Wednesdays, you can dine at Restaurant De Ridder, 150 metres from Hotel Epping. And a drinks vending machine is situated on the first floor of the hotel.

The town is small and cosy, really nice location.
The pillows, I almost never have issues with pillows, but my neck hurted a lot the day after. No clue what is wrong with them, normally I stack or fold em for my head, but these just don t support your neck at all. My only negative remark.

Very good service, kind and helpful. Informal and family atmosphere. Nice location place, IJsselstein, Nice town with good restaurant places. I will come back to this hotel.
Long distance to Utrecht but nice location, god transport with tram.

Vriendelijke service, lekker ontbijt, goed bed, enorm leuk kamertje (met trapjes naar de badkamer), meteen warm en ook weer snel verlucht door klein kiepvenstertje, rustige sfeer, digitale tv-kanalen.
Gangdeuren maken veel geluid. Onhygiënische vloerbekleding, voorkeur voor makkelijk schoon te houden vloer...

Even if I was your guest only for 1 night I had the feeling that the hygiene level is very high, considering the materials used (seem very easy to clean) in the bathroom and compared to the standard level of other hotels. To sum it up it was a good experience and I would advise your hotel to any friend of mine who will be visiting that region of Holland.
I stayed at your hotel only 1 night and I could not appreciate, if the case, the beauty of the place as well as the quality of the services related to your strategic position in the city. By the way I guess a private car parking area would be an important option, especially for customers with a lot of stuff. The only poor service I experienced was the breakfast: not enough choises for international customers.
