Campanile Hotel Leeuwarden is situated just south of Leeuwarden, in the rural town of Goutum. As one of almost 400 Campanile hotels in Europe, this hotel employs a tested and successful formula: extensive facilities at a reasonable price. The hotel is especially suited to families with children. The friendly and attentive staff will do their utmost to make your stay as pleasant as possible. In the restaurant guests can enjoy the delicious menu or various buffets. And on nice days you can take a seat on the outdoor patio.

Surroundings
The Campanile Hotel is just south of Leeuwarden. This city has numerous historical buildings to admire. With no less than 575 monuments, Leeuwarden is steeped in culture. Thanks to its location in the rustic town of Goutum, Hotel Campanile Leeuwarden is also a great starting point for a walk or bike ride through the Frisian countryside. So enjoy two sides to Friesland: its historical cities and its beautiful countryside.

In the morning guests can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet, on weekdays from 06:30 until 09:30 and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:00. Hotel Campanile also has its own restaurant, where you can choose from various à la carte starters, main courses and desserts. This restaurant is open from 12:00 until 14:30 for lunch, and from 18:00 until 21:00 for dinner.

Very clean and good food. Good access from main road to and to Leeuwarden.
Would have been useful to have stairs both ends of block to get upstairs

Excellent, friendly staff. Room perfectly adequate and very clean. Would certainly recommend. Did not eat inhouse, but a drink at the bar was just fine!

Parking, near to the city of Leeuwarden, quite good breakfast

Close to freeway. Easy to access by car, lots of parking space. Not too big. Friendly staff.
No wifi (or at least difficult to identify, I have to admit I did not ask specifically for it at check-in.)

Noiseless, very good.
1.Heating system for the rooms 215-217 were off, we could not turn them on, we had to ask help. They should be automaticaly on, because in the night it was cold.
2.When I booked the second room, I should have some discount.
3.Internet connection per visiting period should be free off charge.

Comfortable room with a big bed, exceptionally clean and well-maintained; quiet; friendly staff who spoke good English; good buffet breakfast; ample parking
Small bath; one evening there was no hot water; situated away from the centre of Leeuwarden; unstaffed overnight; breakfast not served until 8 at weekends; unpleasant plastic cups provided for the courtesy tray in bedrooms

Always nice people in the reception.

Double rooms booked as business travel should not be equiped with a doublebed and a single doublequilt !!
The bar closes too early - 22.30 is very early - together with the reception closing at 23.00 - I would like a night reception and a longer opportunity to relax after a long day with a beer or a cup of coffee in the bar.

There is no bar in the hotel only something that looks like it, but not very cosy.
