Surroundings
Middelburg is the capital of the province of Zeeland. It is a beautiful old city that offers many tourist attractions. You can make a tour of the city or visit the museum for historical costumes. Traditional costumes can still be seen in the streets. Those who want to climb the Lange Jan tower you will have to climb 207 steps to enjoy a wonderful view of the island of Walcheren. In Deltapark Neeltje Jans you can watch sea animals and visit the Delta Works. Another popular attraction is Miniatuur Walcheren, where a miniature version of the island was reconstructed. It is a great destination for children. It has an indoor playground, a play castle, and a mini-adventure train ride through a fairytale tunnel.

Friendly staff, clean, modern and pleasant room.
Fair breakfast (but coudl be better). Plenty of free parking. McDonald's opposite if you are desperate !
Room had a terrible drain smell. We used this hotel quite frequently about 15-18 years ago when it was called BMG and noticed the bad drain smell then !
“My tip: Middelburg has a good market on Thursdays. Nearby in Koudekerke is a large garden centre called Intratuin, worth a visit. Good restaurants in Middelburg town square. Blokker, Hema and Xenos are good for shopping.”

room was very nice, good light, comfortable big bed, nice shower
no hand soap so had to use shower gel to wash hands. it was a bit of a trek into town but I knew this beforehand and it offered free parking
