Surroundings

Hotel de Wageningsche Berg lies on the edge of Wageningen, which received its city rights as early as 1263. In the city centre there is an abundance of cafés and good restaurants. Around Wageningen you can go for a nice long walk, for instance in the river bank reserve De Blauwe Kamer. This nature reserve is the habitat of different species of birds and fish. The entire watershed of the _Rijn _river is beautiful to behold in all seasons. Wageningen is also close to the old city Arnhem, where you can take a boat tour on the _Maas _and _Waal _rivers.

Food and Drink

A delicious breakfast buffet is set up every morning in the hotel's breakfast area. From Monday until Friday guests can have breakfast from 07:00 to 10:00h and from 08:00 to 11:00h at the weekend. Hotel de Wageningsche Berg has three restaurants, all of which offer a spectacular view of the Rijn river and its surroundings. The restaurants are open between 12:00 and 21:00h. Lunch can be ordered until 18:00h, when dinner starts. Meals can be enjoyed in the restaurants or on the lovely outside terrace when weather permits. The menu is updated on a regular basis. All dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients and with a lot of care.
