The Theaterhotel is situated in the heart of Almelo, within walking distance of the railway station. Twente's beautiful green countryside is only minutes away and easy to explore on foot or by bike. Guests can enjoy exceptional theatre shows (over 140 a year), and combine the experience with a delicious meal in one of the hotel's three restaurants. Free use is available of the gym, the sauna and the indoor swimming pool. Sunbeds are available at a surcharge.

The extensive continental breakfast buffet is available from Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 10:00 and on Sunday from 07:00 to 10:30. Every Sunday during the theater season (October-June) the hotel offers a bubbling breakfast, the best of breakfast and lunch together. Breakfast is then from 08:00 to 12:00 h. and champagne and delicious luxury snacks are served. A surcharge of €5 per person is requested.
In the trendy bar/brasserie Chapeau you can enjoy a drink, lunch or dinner in an informal atmosphere. Specialty restaurant De Oude Sociëteit has a classic look and feel and offers the most delicious dishes at star level. In Tapasrestaurant Solera you can enjoy a small snack as a snack or several dishes that form an extensive dinner.

Almelo is a medium-sized city with many lovely shops and a bustling nightlife. The area's beautiful green surroundings are easy to reach from Theaterhotel Almelo. The region of Twente boasts over 1,200 kilometres of cycling paths, leading you through scenic landscapes, past picturesque villages and charming castles.

- On Sunday, check-out is until 12:00 instead of until 11:00.
- On 31st December, the hotel will host an All-Inclusive New Year's Eve Party. Check-in is until 18:00, after which the doors will shut and it will no longer be possible to check in and out. That's when the party starts. This party is only for guests who have booked this package. The hotel's other bars and restaurants will shut their doors before reopening at 01:00. The check-out on 1st January is until 13:00.

It is not possible to use the wellness facilities, restaurants and reception at New Year's.
