Logement de Gaaper Amersfoort is situated in the middle of Amersfoort's historic city centre. The hotel is established in a listed building on De Hof square and the corner of Langestraat, Amersfoort's main shopping street.

A Dutch breakfast buffet is available from Monday through Friday from 07:00 until 09:30, on Saturday from 08:00 until 10:00, and on Sunday from 08:00 until 10:30. At the Koffiehuis you can savour a delicious cup of coffee with a slice of cake or a toasted sandwich and you can take a seat on De Hof square during nice weather. The café is open until sunset and it's also possible to have breakfast here. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but you'll find plenty of eateries, bistros and restaurants dotted around the square.

The medieval character of the city centre and its canals makes Amersfoort one of the most beautiful cities in the Netherlands. An eye-catcher in the historic centre is The Tower of Our Lady, a 98-metre high church tower. You can also visit the Sint-Joriskerk, situated close to Logement de Gaaper. This aisled hall church was built between the 13th and 16th centuries. Indulge yourself in a shopping spree on Langestraat with its charming side streets. Amersfoort also has plenty to offer in terms of culture. For instance, you can visit the city's historic museum, Museum Flehite, Mondrian House where Piet Mondrian was born, the Armando Museum and Kunsthal KadE. Amersfoort Zoo is situated on the edge of the city and offers a nice day out for the whole family.
