In Amsterdam's city centre, within close walking distance of Leidseplein, you'll imagine yourself to be in another world entirely at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht Hotel. Andaz is the lifestyle / design branch of the Hyatt hotel chain. The renowned Dutch designer Marcel Wanders was invited to transform this former public library into a deluxe hotel. The design shows a modern intepretation of the history of Amsterdam and the Netherlands; from delftware wallpaper in the atrium to video art on the walls.

Hotel guests are able to enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet, served daily between 06:30 and 11:30. The Bluespoon Lounge and the adjacent library is the hub of the hotel, where guests and passersby are able to enjoy a drink and a nice bite to eat. It is also possible to quietly sit and read a book in the library. Help yourself to a complimentary cup of coffee, a slice of cake or a piece of fruit. In the afternoon guests are able to enjoy a complimentary glass of wine in the bar/lounge.In an elegant setting with an Amsterdam touch you'll be able to savour quintessentially Dutch drinks and tasty cocktails with a view of Prinsengracht.The bar is open daily from 12:00. The bar closes at 01:00 on Sunday through Thursday, and at 02:00 on Friday and Saturday.

Executive chef Sander and his team source the best ingredients to create delectable dishes in the open kitchen at Bluespoon Restaurant. The menu features interesting facts about the origins of the produce used; from North Holland to the French coast. Whilst you eat you can delight in a view of the hotel's herb garden. For an extra special experience and an even better view there's the Chef's Table. Dishes are served from the extensive lunch menu between 11:30 and 15:00. It is possible to dine between 18:00 and 22:00. Furthermore, the hotel offers a 24-hour room service.
