Hotel Atlanta has a magnificent view of the lively 'Rembrandtplein' which functioned as a meeting place for entertainers, artists and journalists in the 19th century. The square owes its name to the statue of Rembrandt that was erected by a group of artists in 1844. Over the years, the square developed into a centre of popular amusement. The many restaurants, bars and terraces bring about a vibrant atmosphere in summertime.

The cosy breakfast room is on the second floor and has a magnificent view of the 'Rembrandtplein'. You can enjoy the continental breakfast buffet here from 07:00 until 10:00 h.

Because of the very central location of the 'Rembrandtplein', there are countless possibilities to explore the city. How about a cruise through the canals or a visit to the flower market? And if you like to shop, you can enjoy yourself in the 'Kalverstraat' or Magna Plaza.

room are a little small and stairs are steep but what can you expect for in the middle of amsterdam!

Didn't know about the night club on the PLEIN and didn't get much sleep because that night club was going all night.

“A decent priced, dinghy room in the heart of Amsterdam”

Excellent location at an affordable price (I booked online for $70/night). I can't complain about the noise because I am a deep sleeper and you can't expect much quiet in Rembrandtplein in spring.
When I checked the bed for bed bugs I noticed that the pillow and mattress were very, very old and stained. The mattress wasn't very comfortable and should be burned and replaced with a new one. The hotel has very steep stairs but that didn't bother me (and I stayed at the very top). The carpet is old and a bit dingy but that isn't a problem. The shared bathroom and weird sink in my room were minus points. I couldn't wash my face in my room without splashing water all over the place

“Rembrant stays here every night, you should to occasionally!”

Price, very clean, friendly and has many of the modern good conveniences such as a safe in room, mini-bar, cable-tv etc, good location.
Lots of stairs, (but good workout and did have a 3rd floor roof deck!) Only European breakfast available, (meat cheese coffee, but at least its there if you want it!)

“Central location but wouldn't use again”

Good location. Bed room and bathroom clean
3 steep flight of stairs to bedroom no lift and no one to carry luggage. First room we were given smelt of drains so we asked to move. Very noisy in the square all night

“excellent location”

The hotel is very central, easy to find and close to all the local tourist attractions and the staff are also very welcoming and helpfull.
The room was not as it was described very small but I feel like we got what we paid for.

“A well placed Hostel charging hotel prices.”

Location is very central. The staff were helpful.
the rooms were dirty, the layout was poor and the showers and toilets shared. I was asked to pay cash up front or face another 3% charge. This is a very expensive hostel and not a hotel.

very good location
the jacuzzi is out of service, and if you use it the water will flow in the appartements from the -1 floor.

An absolute blinder of a hotel, the noise from the bars and clubs is the only downside and it can be loud at the weekend. Earplug will do the trick, of course if you are in the clubs it don\'t matter. Service was sharp and professional, i been in the dam 10 times or so and this was one of the best places i stayed for cost, location,comfort combination. I will go back.
