“A well-located freindly hotel with real Amsterdam character”
- Excellent location; Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast and clean new ensuite bathrooms.
- A challenging staircase but once the luggage is up it is part of the real Amsterdam experience.

- In such a great location for bars and restaurants. Only 15 mins walk (and a really pretty walk) to the Red Light District. Had the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and our room was cleaned daily. Friendly staff and a great little bar. Cool decor in rooms.

- Very loud street noise. People walking home drunk and REALLY loud from bars or wherever all nite long on street out front. No A/C so couldn't shut window to keep out noise.

“Uber cool place to stay in Amsterdam”
- What a great hotel! The guys who work here are so nice and helpful, the room (Jagermeister room) was first rate and very clean and the hotel is just five minutes away from the Paradiso, which was great for us. I would 100% stay a here again.

- Personel is extremely kindly and helpful, atmosphere is very nice, breakfast: price/quality relation is very good
- low hygiene ranking is because of the bathroom: mould-infested, rinsing reservoir of toilet was leaky, floor of bathroom not cleaned for days; no towels - thought it wasn't incl. due to the low price and didn't ask at the reception; but got some at the last day of stay - should have asked ;-)

- The hotel was in the perfect area - close to the centre but not right in the centre. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Everything you need for a getaway to Amsterdam.
- The room was very small. This is fine for a short stay (4 days or less) but may cause problems for someone with more luggage
