The hotel Bastion Amsterdam Amstel is located near the ring road A10 at exit S111 and just a stone's throw away from the Amsterdam ArenA and RAI Exhibition and Convention Centre. This makes the hotel easily accessible by car. What's more, you can park your car for free in the covered car park and let the nearby subway take you to the historic heart of Amsterdam, where all renowned attractions are within grasp, in only 15 minutes. The extensive continental breakfast buffet is served on weekdays between 06:00 and 09:00 h. in the weekend from 07:00 tot 10:30 h. From 11:00 to 23:00 h. the a la carte restaurant is open for lunch and dinner. The menu offers a broad choice of international dishes. You can order a three course dinner or a take away lunch box. The hotel bar is open till 23.30 h. for a relaxed drink or snack. Every Wednesday evening a special soccer or movie event is organised here.

“Hotel experience EXCELLENT. Dining Room experience VERY VERY POOR SVCE”
  • Very Clean, helpful staff and very comfortable room with all amemeties
  • Dining Room Staff not fully trained in customer service. While waiting for15 minutes to have order taken, one waiter cleaned off table next to us and ignored us. Same experience in trying to receive the bill, had to get up from table to find someone to sign our bill. The service for two nights was Same. Third night different staff, all women, and service was excellent.

  • The 2 staff that worked in the restaurant on Friday mornin were very friendly and for the low price the hotel was surprisingly good, and the airco was great as well.

  • Buffet breakfast was the same every day with no new food items. Breakfast should also include a menu for those who would like less food. Excerise room should open before 6 AM., Room did not have enough lighting. Lamp on desk did not work. Hotel should supply a outlet plug adaptor for US visitors.
