Hotel la Boheme lies around the corner of Leidseplein; a square surrounded by lovely restaurants, coffee shops, clubs and cafés. La Boheme's location is particularly convenient for theatre lovers. Nieuwe de la Mar Theater is situated directly opposite the hotel and Stadsschouwburg and Theater Bellevue are located on Leidseplein. And for a bit of improv comedy you can see the 'Boom Chicago' show at the Leidseplein Theatre.

The reception doubles as a bar. A place where you're welcome to check your email or simply enjoy a chat with staff. Breakfast is served daily between 08:15 and 11:00 and comprises organic products.

Hotel la Boheme is a good base for exploring Amsterdam in a short space of time. Enjoy the nightlife in the restaurants, bars and clubs surrounding Leidseplein. The hotel is situated opposite the Nieuwe De La Mar Theatre. Fancy seeing a concert? Then head to the Melkweg or Paradiso, just a short walk from the hotel. The museum district is also easy to reach on foot. See masterpieces by Vermeer, Rembrandt and Van Gogh. Friendly and helpfull staff. Clean rooms. Very central location. Very good public transport connections. We had a very pleasant stay.
Steepy stairs, no elevator. Small bathroom. Don't expect any luxury, you 'll get what you pay for and that is very reasonable. Parking is very expensive, so you better use the P+R facilities on the outskirts of the city or use the public transport.

“La Boheme - great value, outstanding location.”

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast, clean rooms, great location and good value.
No lift, making access to upper floors difficult, probably impossible, for older people. We are older (60+) and in good health so it was no propblem; 10 years from now - maybe not. But, that is how it must be in older Amsterdam properties.
