Once off the ferry, Hotel Brooklyn is a true eye-catcher on the northern banks of the IJ. The building with its impressive roof and glass walls forms a splendid contrast to the surrounding warehouses and the industrial character of the NDSM wharf. The NDSM terrain is a former shipyard on the northern banks of the IJ. This industrial location is regularly used for major events including Valtifest. It also forms a creative incubator with (temporary) restaurants and catering establishments. A ferry to Amsterdam Central Station frequently departs close to the hotel. The centre of Amsterdam is therefore just 10 minutes away.

“My stay at the Broolyn Hotel”
- Service is okay, location is excellent.
- Very small rooms, price size ratio is very bad. With three persons in a family room no place to pass each other. Absurd for the money asked.
