Hotel

Benthem Crouwel Architects, the architect company also responsible for the expansion of the Stedelijk Museum, drew up the designs for Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam. The glass facade comprising round screens is certainly an eye-catcher, especially if you're travelling on the A2 motorway to Amsterdam. This building is even more striking after dusk as light radiates from the rooms and the facade.

The round windows and round bathrooms add an unusual element to the luxurious hotel rooms, which also come with a smart television with LED lighting. During the build particular attention to detail was paid to technique and sustainability. A delicious breakfast or lunch can be enjoyed in the SKY Lounge Pi. And the hotel's sky lounge and panoramic SKY Restaurant Pi offer a splendid view of Amsterdam's skyline.

Five boardrooms are located on the sixteenth floor. The rooms feature technical gadgets such as video conferencing facilities. The hotel is a good meeting point thanks to its convenient location on the A2 motorway. Ample parking facilities are available.

Surroundings

Fletcher Hotel Amsterdam lies on the A2 motorway close to Holendrecht junction. The centre of Amsterdam, the RAI and Schiphol Amsterdam Airport are all easy to reach by car. Discover world-famous attractions such as the Anne Frank House, the Rijksmuseum and Madame Tussauds or go shopping in Kalverstraat and at the Magna Plaza. It's also possible to take a walk or a bike trip through nearby places such as Abcoude, Muiden and Weesp.

Food and Drink

Enjoy waking up with a leisurely cup of coffee and the paper or breakfast in the SKY Restaurant Pi. This is also the perfect spot for a quick business lunch. The top floor SKY Lounge Pi, offering a stunning view of Amsterdam's skyline, serves finger food, sushi, cocktails and a good choice of drinks. And you can dine high in sky at the panoramic SKY Restaurant Pi, where international dishes grace the menu. An elaborate breakfast buffet is also available here every morning.

Nice hotel, but on remote location

Good parking facilities (although we were travelling by train), new design, good breakfast, nice views.

Very inconvenient place for a visit to Amsterdam Centre when travelling by train/bus/metro, as metro is 15min walk (and it was very cold and windy during our visit) and hotel shuttle only is there during working days. Although the hotel is new, some things already require attention (e.g. tilting flatscreen, WC-door not closing, laminate flooring in the elevator) NB: check your bill, as the hotels.nl discount was not on my bill and required a new bill.

“My tip: Football stadium Arena + shopping area is about 45min walk or EUR 12 taxi ride. ”

Very nice Business Hotel, exquisite design and staff.

Very comfortable room, exquisite design, very kind and professional staff.

Restaurant is quite expensive. Good quality, good ideas but a bit out in price. It is difficult to get to the hotel if you are getting there by car. There are no signs and I got lost.

“My tip: Enjoy the shower...... ”
