The 45 meter high hotel on the north side of the IJ lake is the largest Holiday Inn Express Hotel in Europe. The imposing 14-storey building has no fewer than 438 rooms and offers a phenomenal view over the beautiful city of Amsterdam.

The soundproofed rooms are of different sizes: from standard double rooms to family rooms. All rooms have a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, WiFi, a flat-screen TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

You can also come here for a business meeting or event. Two large meeting rooms are available.

Parking in the hotel's parking garage is subject to availability and must be reserved (€19.50 per night).

The hotel has good facilities for the disabled.

Your pet is also welcome at the hotel for an additional fee.

You can enjoy an extensive continental breakfast buffet and in the restaurant Bar Café Noord you can have lunch and dinner à la carte. There is also a so-called 'Wundermart' in the lobby where drinks, snacks and small meals are available.

You can enjoy a drink in the Expressbar or, if the weather is nice, settle down on the sunny terrace with a refreshing cocktail.

Close to the hotel you can board the ferry that will take you to Amsterdam Central Station. From the station you can walk straight onto Damrak, in the direction of the centre. Of course you can also travel by tram or metro from Central. If you feel like cycling, you can rent a bicycle on site and take a bike ride on the ferry.
Recommended nearby are the NEMO Science Museum (1.2 km), the Scheepvaartmuseum (1.5 km), the Muziekgebouw aan het IJ (0.8 km) or the Eye Film Museum (1.2 km), which is beautifully situated at the river.
