Philip Tilbrook- Location was good
- Advert was misleading - it was only a poorly converted cramped attic single room with toilet a couple of feet from the bed and no cupboards for clothes. OK for a very small person.

Joar- central situated. Quiet. Beds ok. Two chairs.
- No cabinets for cloths, shoes etc. In case of fire - very dangerous. On leaving there was no one to receive the keys. Narrow staircases and no lift. No livingroom for guests. No place for buying drinks etc. Too cold, no heating.

paul- The room was quite nice and location fine
- We had to phone to get in, phone to leave, never saw the manager. bags could not be left there on the last day as only one key. There was sheets left drying on the stairs for our whole stay. We have stayed in many hotels in amsterdam and this was our worst. Am frankly amazed at previous reviews.

Theresa- Enjoying all the comforts of home while experiencing the atmosphere of an Amsterdam home. A perfect position to enjoy Amsterdam away from the bussel of the city centre. Eating in as the apartment offers great cooking facilities or buying delights on offer from the cafes and bakeries nearby. We enjoyed watching the boats travel through the canals. Our host, Fokker, is delightful and helped us find our way to Ameland and back again. We also greatly appreciated our host carrying our heavy suitcases to the top floor - thank you very much that deserves great praise!
- The narrow steep staircase - however, Fokker's kind gesture of having Easter eggs/chocolate on a table on the first landing was a welcome boost - thanks!

Tracie Walmsley- Fantastic Room, very clean and spacious. Bathroom was enormous. TV appearing out of the bottom of the bed - awesome! would definitely book again.
- Not enough space for hanging clothes if you were to stay longer than a weekend and nowhere to hang towels after you had a shower!

Martin Hynes- This place is fantastic. It is in a great location and enabled us to kick off our visit to Amsterdam by visiting the Heineken Experience and Van Gogh museum, both just a short walk away. Fokko and Fabiano were friendly and helpful and were happy for us to check in before noon. The room was lovely and the bed was incredibly comfortable, best night's sleep I'd had for a while! It felt like somewhere to come back to after exploring this beautiful city. Much more than a hotel room. Additionally, we used the kitchen facilities to sort ourselves out with a good breakfast and a packed lunch so we didn't have to eat out until the evening, I reckoned this saved about £150 euros over our three night stay. Next time we go to Amsterdam, we are going to book Amstel Corner straight away. We won't even think about looking elsewhere.
- If I were Fokko I'd do more with the back garden!

Andrew Booth- The apartment was very well equiped in a modern style. The bathroom in particular was excellent. The room was warm and comfortable and being on the 5th floor afforded some excellent views of the city. Fokko, the owner, was extremely pleasant and helpful.
- Really the only negative aspect was the five flights of steep stairs we had to climb to reach the apartment. Not too much fun with heavy suitcases!
