“Nice hotel, close to the city center”
- Very big beds (2 matrimonial beds made of 2 normal beds), very friendly staff, heating in the rooms (necessary for rainy and cold Amsterdam), very close to important tram stations in all directions, close to city center, fairly price (by Amsterdam standards)
- somewhat thin walls (you can hear your neighbors during the morning, but quit guests so not a real problem), walking shower with no washbasin (but water stayed in my room where it was supposed to stay, if not there are plenty of towels intended to be used as bath mats), no single room, no price difference when used double room for single occupancy

- I´m sure that you cannot smoke inside the hotel, I remember that I read about this. But I know that the receptionist was smoking inside!! If you are in the first floor, of course you can know that! So, very bad. Rules are rules. I think the man is the boss there.
