Hotel Central Park is an atmospheric hotel in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid. Its location near the Vondelpark offers peace and convenience. Surrounding the hotel you'll find plenty of entertainment venues as well as numerous good restaurants and bars.

Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 until 10:00. The hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. Guests can enjoy their own drinks in the lounge.

Hotel Central Park is peacefully located by the beautiful Vondelpark. You can reach the city centre of Amsterdam within several minutes. You can go shopping in the Kalverstraat, or visit one of the many tourist attractions such as Madame Tussauds, the Dam square, the Van Gogh Museum or the Rijksmuseum.

The Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum and the Leidseplein are all within walking distance of the Vondelpark. The RAI congress centre is easy to reach by public transport.

“A very small double room”

Quiet location but close to eateries and transport connections
Bed was much too soft. The room was not big enough to open a suitcase without blocking access to the bathroom. There was no plug for the hand basin which was totally blocked halfway through out two night stay.

“Great, clean, quiet hotel with beautiful views”

In residential area, though still just outside the city. I was travelling with my mom and we needed a quiet place to stay. Two tram options a few minutes walk from the hotel takes you straight to the centre of town. It is also only two streets away from a busy main street with plenty of quality restaurants and a supermarket. We had a third floor room with a small balcony and a beautiful view over a small lake. It s also right next to the Vondelpark - a fantastic place to escape to and experie
The trams don t travel at night, so it s a slightly long walk to the centre of the city. Amsterdam is relatively safe, though, and I did not feel unsafe walking by myself at night.

The staffs are kind. Room is clean and modern style.
Check out time is too early (10:00 am). But other then that it is great!

“Cozy hotel in residential area far away from city center”

1. Cozy room with modern design. 2. Staff members are reasonably helpful.
1. One day house-keeping staff forgot to make up my room. 2. Shower head was leaky. 3. Constructions across the street made loud noises early in the morning for two days.

“Fine for a short break - but by a tram pass!”

Nice enough rooms, not luxury, but fine for a short break.
Ten euros for breakfast is a bit steep - but what isn't in Europe at the minute?

“Charming hotel near Vondelpark.”

Clean and quiet. Always someone at front desk. Great location if you want a quiet hotel. Beautiful park nearby. Bed was comfortable. The room was a good size for Amsterdam, and the atached en suite was spacious and newly renovated.
I requested directions when I booked online, but recieved no reply. I made a phone call, but only got the nearest train stop. The hotel is slightly off the main road, so we wandered around a bit on arrival. I also ran into another guest a few days later searching for the hotel.

“Peaceful, Clean, out of the way”

It is in a pretty neighborhood just outside of the people's park, so it was nice and quiet. TV in room was very nice as were the beds and bathroom. The room was nice. They offer bike rentals at the hotel. And they offer snacks.
Unfortunately the pretty and quiet neighborhood is so because it's so far away from everything. Even finding a grocery or snack shop took some doing. It would be helpful if on the website, there were directions as to how to get to the hotel from the train station. Because there weren't, we had to take the 3-4k walk (with packs on). It was a fairly unpleasant start. Also, they could use a better snack selection. When you've just had food poisoning, all you want is a cold soda and crackers or biscuits, not mars bars and kit-kats (but at least they even had soda pops).

Good location, comfortable space, clean room.
Breakfast is bad. The price is just too expensive. The room near to the street is noisy in the morning.

“Great place to stay!”

Rooms are modern and the location is really great. While it is not in the city center the neighborhood is quite charming and close to transportation and many restaurants.
I imagine some people would think the rooms are too small but we didn't mind the size of them and found the room cozy and comfortable.
