Hotel Larende lies within walking distance from the centre of Amsterdam and the lively district Jordaan. It's an excellent base from which to explore Amsterdam. The hotel is easily accessible with a tram stop in front of the hotel; from Central Station you can take tram line 13 and from Station Sloterdijk line 12. Both lines stop near to the Willem de Zwijgerlaan, which is at walking distance from the hotel.
The breakfast buffet is served each morning from 07:30 until 10:00. After 10:00 you can order breakfast for €12.50 per person. The restaurant is open for dinner between 17:00 and 23:00. There's also a bar at the hotel, which is open from 17:00 until 01:00.
From Hotel Larende in Amsterdam, the most famous museums of Amsterdam can be easily reached on foot. The magnificent Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Van Gogh Museum are on the square Museumplein. The Concertgebouw is there as well. - Clean, bright, like- new room, great firm bed for wonderful sleep. Big desk, big armoire! Easy reach bed lights. Superb bathroom. Breakfast buffet includes croissants, boiled eggs, omelette, yoghurt, meats and cheeses, granola, fruit salad with pomegranate pips, cucumber spears, sliced tomatoes, several types of bread with butter, juices, a selection of teas, coffee. Satisfying
- No hooks on walls or doors to hang wet coats after rain! No razor, shave cream, cotton swabs, or hair conditioner. Tea and coffee available from desk, but no setup in room to make one's own. Can hear conversations in adjoining rooms with no problem.

“Hospitality galore at moderately priced small CLEAN hotel!”
- We asked for a quiet room and we got the perfect room with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. No street noise! The hotel staff bent over backwards to get us information about local attractions and information both before our arrival via email and after our arrival. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous; something for everyone. Convenient location served by three trams just minutes from Dam Square. I was so happy with my choice!

- good restaurant on first floor. In ten days of travel, only place that offered a complimentary drink upon arrival. near museums on short tram ride. tram stop outside of hotel. very accommodating staff. appears to be newly remodeled interiors.

“It's worth it”
- Excellent service, everyone was nice and friendly and spoke english. When we arrived at 10 am we were exhausted from lack of sleep on the flight, but check-in starts at 2pm,, so the guy at the front desk rushed the cleaning lady to get our room done as soon as possible which was AWESOME, plus he gave us free coffee when we got there. The jacuzzi tub was WELL worth it, especially with jetlag. Good area, great location, excellent food, friendly service, and they have a private taxi designated for airport use! We will be using this hotel again the next time we go to Amsterdam.
- The porch was tiny, and being smokers, this made smoking outside a very complicated art-form, considering we had only enough room on the porch to open and close the door. The beds were also a little too firm for my taste. I didn't have a problem, but my girlfriend was in a world of hurt the whole time with jetlag and a hard bed.
