There's lots to experience in Amsterdam. Hotel - Sebastian's Amsterdam is a perfect base from which to explore the city. The many museums, such as the Anne Frank Huis, the Amsterdams Historisch Museum ) (Amsterdam Historical Museum) and the Hermitage are all easy to get to. As well as this, shopping enthusiasts can visit many chains, boutiques or trendy stores in the streets Haarlemmerstraat, Kalverstraat or P.C. Hooftstraat.
Breakfast is available daily from 07:00 until 11:00. The hotel does not have its 'own' restaurant, it's still possible to enjoy dishes from the extensive lunch menu, freshly prepared soup or some savoury bar snacks. The bar is open daily from 17:00 until 01:00.
Hotel - Sebastian's is located in the heart of the bustling city of Amsterdam. Around the corner is the Jordaan area, with its many fashionable shops and restaurants. From the hotel you can easily reach the Anne Frank Huis, Dam square, where the Royal Palace and National Monument are located. And to enjoy some good shopping, you can walk to the lively streets of the Haarlemmerstraat or the Kalverstraat. Amsterdam Central Station is within walking distance. Rental bicycles are available at the reception.

There are three types of rooms, small, medium and large. In addition, the rooms either have a nice view of the canal or of the lovely and typically Amsterdam courtyard gardens.

“Great Hotel in great neighborhood”
- Wonderful, attentive and friendly service. Quiet neighborhood but in walking distance or short tram ride to the major museums, concert hall and zoo.
- Two twin blankets on queen sized bed but we figured that that was the Dutch way so we never said anything. I m sure if we said something they would have accommodated us. Bed was extremely comfortable, though.

“good stay, recommend!”
- Everything is so proper and clean, really nice staying with this hotel. especially the happy and helpful reception staff! the hotel also located at a good neighborhood which is quite and safe! it is absolutely really good to seperating from central station and crowd when you want to have a great sleep. near to restaurants, shops, sightseeing points. walk distance to center/station. if i go to amsterdam again, i will choose them again without doubt!
- Just a small problem with one side of the double-bed, there might be bugs, but we are not so sure. however my mum got many red points on her arms, neck etc which were really inchy. but it ONLY happened one night with one side of the double bed...bit weird. Except this, the stay was absolutely really nice!

“It is all about the people. ”
- I wish to say Thank You to the Reception staff. The two ladies that were working on Saturday evening were just incredible. They were friendly and helpful, and because of that, my experience was fantastic. I will definitelly consider staying in the hotel again. Secondly, location, not only city center but the best part of Amsterdam... could not ask for more. Third, approachable and helpful bar staff. Coffee machine in the room.. that is all in counts.
- The room was very small for the price, however, the location was best of the best, so who cares about the room while in Amsterdam... at the end of the day, it is a place to leave the luggage and go in town.

“Charming hote well located”
- The staff were very welcoming and warm. The hotel is cozy with an eclectic decorating scheme. THe bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I ever slept in. Very well situated, near Central Station, on a canal. The room was small but had nice amentites including a good view of the canal.
- Musty smell in the corridors - the Amsterdam damp weather?

“Great service, beautiful view, great location”
- Flawless service -- they took care of everything and anything, and they do a great job of introducing you to the city, avoiding the tourists, finding great restaurants, and seeing a side of the older, quieter city you might not otherwise see. Gay friendly. (though that describes most of the city!)
- None really --- although I definitely recommend paying the money for a room with a canal view -- we sat a few hours everyday just having a beer and watching it.

“A great disappointment!”
- The location of the hotel is excellent, the staff is very helpfull, and the breakfast is fine.
- We booked 3 months in advance - and got the worst room possible. It was located in the small gable, with normal height only above the bed, and the remaining 3-4 square meters had horizontal beams across it at the hight of 170 cm!!!! Since we are both taller than 170 we had to be bent all the time. So we gave up unpacking. Its two small windows could be pushed up only some 20 cm and the third somewhat larger window has thick bars on it and couldn't be opened. It was hot at the time we were there
