The non-smoking Hotel ibis Amsterdam Centre is located in the city centre, next to Amsterdam Central Station. From there, it will only take you 20 minutes to get to Schiphol Amsterdam Airport by train. The hotel is an ideal base from which to discover Amsterdam. Four of the main canals are located nearby, they are the Prinsengracht, Herengracht, Keizersgracht and the Singel. A canal cruise is a great way to learn about Amsterdam's rich history and its canals. Just across the street from the hotel are several canal cruise companies.

You can enjoy an elaborate breakfast buffet in the breakfast room. The cosy bar offers a great meeting place for drinks with friends or colleagues. At the à la carte restaurant, delicious meals are served in a relaxed atmosphere.

“Small room but super comfortable sheets”

Comfortable bed, very soft and warm sheets I had a very good sleep Both two nights
I wish I could have made a cup of tea in the morning but our room were not equipped with kettle, neither tea or coffee.

Very small room, considering what we paid it was not worth it, there is better options in the same area where this hotel is located

“The Ibis, we loved it, one of our better accomodations”

All staff except one were very courteous, very helpful and willing to assist. Head lady in charge of desk very helpful and efficient. Barman very approachable gave good advice.Only one girl on desk not up to it. We were very impressed with hotel, bar, meals and services until our last 30 minutes. see below.
Marked service low because girl on reception desk did not enter our taxi request in book. Superviser checked. Taxi arrived late 10mins. Taxi was old white Mrecedes van driven by unkempt man who drove us away from our destination until I argued with him. Taxi price exorbitant. V poor look for hotel. Not impressed!

Next to Amsterdam Cntral mand our 6thy floor room had a terrific-view of the ciy
Pricey for the small size of the room.

This was one of the best hotels in Amsterdam I have ever stayed in. Clean, quite and perfectly located.
I can't think of any.

“Perfect location for a business trip that requires train travel”

Excellent place if you have business that requires train travel; the hotel is literally on top of Amsterdam Centraal. I had successive meetins in Brussels and Amsterdam and it was extremely convenient to be able to go to my room within five minutes of existing the train, likewise you can sleep until the last possible minute if you have an early train out in the morning. Amsterdam Centraal is also, as the name suggests, smack in the middle of the city, so there are restaurants, etc. close by.
Depending on where you are in the hotel, there can be some noise from the train station, however, that noise stops almost completely around 10PM after which the hotel is pleasantly silent.

It was so near the train station and trams. Compact toilet with a good size shower. Air conditioned room.
Room was very snug with the third bed converted from the table at the window.

Only 2 internet points at hotel with queue....... missing glasses at room..

“Great location, not so great hotel”

Modern Hotel, nice rooms
Staff were pretty rude, hotel room wasn\'t properly clean and drinks available in the bar/snack area were far too expensive. Complete rip-off. Very unhappy and I am unlikely to stay again at an Ibis
