guri- good location.
- the staff was high and a lot of people getting high when we arrived. There was a mouse in the room, alive, running around. we found syringes and bands for shooting up on the balcony and a small bag with white powder residue, maybe heroin. i recommend the staff clean thoroughly the room before guests arrive and take the dope smoking a bit more reserved.

GZ- All-night reception with fast internet.
- Terrible internet access in the room. No towels provided for all guests in the room. Very loud and was unable to sleep through the night.

anoniem- It was close to the melkweg, where we were going to a concert.
- The sheats are not that clean, the toilet doesn't flush. And we didn't stay at the Lantaerne, but we had to go to the Marnix hotel. I think the Lantaerne doesn't exist anymore. I realy would not recomment this hotel to anyone.

S. Peatfield- clean shower room. heating if needed.
- value for money at this hotel was poor. for just a little more money i could have stayed in a 4 star compared to this one which was more like a dormitory with cardboard walls.

Regina- Location was great, close to city center. Breakfast ok, especially as we did not expect to have breakfast (in confirmation letter it said without breakfast).
- The rooms were uncleaned. There was no light in the bathroom, and even after that we asked for it. It was cold in rooms, the heating system did not worked.

Mr Mad- Nice guys at the desk. But not good enough.
- This hotel was not clean. The shower was clogged and the toilet did not flushed. We were moved into this room from our original room because there were painters in that hallway telling us that we could try to carry our heavy bags up a narrow stairway with wet paint on both sides. Do not book here. Don't be fooled by the websites: Hotel D'Lanterne and Hotel Marnix are the same thing! Stay away

Niel Pandya- none what so ever!
- We were switched from this hotel to the one across the road (Marnix) - which was supposed to be the same standard (2 Star) - what we saw was more like a hostel not hotel. We did not stay as the man on the reception said we would not be charged if we cancelled
