Hotel Max is situated in the museum area, with the Stedelijk Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Van Gogh Museum all within walking distance. You can take beautiful walks from the hotel to the Dam Square and the city centre, and many trams and buses will quickly transport you to the heart of Amsterdam. There's an abundance of culture to enjoy around the <i>Museumplein</i>, and you'll find many bars and clubs around the <i>Leidseplein</i> and <i>Rembrandtplein</i>. Numerous restaurants serve dishes from all around the world, while the many bars and terraces in the vibrant centre offer refreshing drinks and snacks. The small, cosy rooms at Hotel Max come with a shower and a toilet, a television, hair dryer, a safe, and an alarm clock. Most rooms have a fan and a telephone. At 400 metres from Hotel Max lies the auxiliary hotel, Hotel Iris, which offers more spacious rooms. Check-in and breakfast also take place at Hotel Iris.

Breakfast is served from 08:30 until 10:30 in the nearby auxiliary hotel Iris. Hotel Max does not have a restaurant, but the surrounding neighbourhood (particularly in the <i>Pijp</i> area) offers an abundance of restaurants. Plus there are also many options around the <i>Leidseplein</i>.

Hotel Max is situated in the cosy residential area of the <i>Pijp</i>, near the museum area. The <i>Stedelijk Museum</i>, <i>Rijksmuseum</i> and <i>Van Gogh Museum</i> are easy to reach, as is the lovely <i>Sarphatipark</i>. Public transport will take you to the <i>Rembrandtplein</i> and the <i>Leidseplein</i> in no time, where the dazzling city centre invites you to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of Amsterdam. During the Heineken Experience, you can taste the ambience of a genuine beer brewery, where the entire beer brewing process is displayed in an informative and entertaining manner. The famous 100-year-old Albert Cuyp Market is just around the corner. This vibrant daily market is one of the largest in Europe, offering a wide variety of fresh produce and souvenirs.
