Ritva Rekola- Wonderful location. Very warm and friendly service. Personal touch. Intimate, small hotel. Very good and fresh breakfast. Beautiful rooms. Super comfortable beds. Memorable in every aspect!
- No elevator, steep stairs which may be difficult for handicapped people.

nj wright- Probably the best small hotel in Amsterdam. Rachel and Pepijn make you feel as though your the only people staying at their hotel. It has a warm and friendly atmosphere as soon as you enter through the front door. We cannot speak highly enough of the misc . We hope to be returning in the spring.

VD- Excellent service and cozy hotel
- A bit noisy at night

Catherine Lockwood- Rachel and Pepyn and their staff were helpful beyond description. It was like staying with lovely friends who want to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. When we were late for out train (forgot to change the time on my second watch!), they sent their employee with us in the taxi to make sure we got ourselves and our heavy bags onto the train - with only 2 minutes to spare! We rented their bikes and loved it.
- I got a few bug bites - but not sure where in Amsterdam I contracted them. Next time I'll bring bug repellent just in case I run into more bugs! The hotel was very clean, but we had our windows wide open all the time.... The neighborhood is on the canals (a plus!) but one block from the Red Light District, so at night there was plenty of noise of party people - but they sounded so happy, it didn't bother us - twas "happy noise!"

Rebecca Carter- Extremely friendly hotel and knowledgeable hotel owners A small and intimate hotel that felt like a home from home (but much nicer than my home!). I slept so well and felt really relaxed whilst here. A really wonderful place that I will certainly come back to soon.
9.8
Stephen Goss- Great location, lovely personal attention from the owners, small hotel, with nicely and individually designed rooms. It is just quiet enough to be peaceful-feeling but right on the edge of the tourist bustle and all the things Amsterdam is famous for.

jason fowler- Run with dedication and genuine warmth - feels a million miles away from big business hotels
- In the centre of everything so can be busy outside

Dan - business traveller- fantastic little hotel. old canal house which has been converted into a 6 room hotel, 3 on the canal side and 3 on the garden side. rooms are large and interesting. couple that runs the place are extremely friendly and helpful. room price includes breakfast, internet and minibar - great value. bed was very comfortable. breakfast was excellent and large. will come back again
- canal side rooms can be a bit noisey due to sounds coming from steet; recommend gardens side room if you are a light sleeper. no air conditioning but rooms have ceiling fans. being an old building the stairs are steep.
