From the Swissôtel you can reach Amsterdam Central Station within a couple of minutes. The hotel's international restaurant, Royal98, is open from 07:00 until 22:00. You can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet here, available Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 10:30. After which the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.
Royal98 is the only restaurant in Amsterdam with an in-house bakery. The menu features mainly Italian dishes including freshly made pasta, thin crust wood oven pizzas and freshly baked breads. The front of the restaurant features a deli where a variety of cakes, pastries, biscuits, etc. are sold with delicious tea, coffee and other drinks.

“This is a good central location to stay, with friendly helpful service”

Service especially the front desk was consistently friendly and helpful, which really made for a good visit. The location on Dam square was ideal.
Minus points were minor - the room (305) was very small, the safe did not work and there was very little storage space. It looked out on an alley, which made it a bit dark and grim. Next time we'll try for a room at the front.

disappointed that at the price point, no complimentary coffee or tea in the morning, no breakfast included, and you charge for wifi, 3 euro for 30 min? crazy! It's not only the price but also inconvenient to have to go thru all the logon process. We picked you for ,your reputation...you shou;ld be a cut above in this area

Breakfast is fine. Internet access is available in business center. Location of hotel is satisfied.
Room is too small, just like a cage. When you open the window, you can even reach the balcony of neighbour apartment by hand, which made me very depressive. No king-size bed is available, just patchwork of two single bed. No enough information are provided in reception.
