And if you fancy a night out, it's just take a 15-minute stroll to Leidseplein; the centre of Amsterdam's nightlife.
The extensive continental breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast room from 08:00 until 10:00h. There is no restaurant in Hotel Washington, but numerous beaneries can be found in the close vicinity, especially in the de Pijp area, that is well known for its broad choice of restaurants.
Hotel Washington Amsterdam lies in the neighbourhood De Pijp, which is also the location of the most renowned Dutch market: the Albert Cuyp. This market was established more than a century ago. Bloyer- The staff was very nice and helpful during the stay.
- The stairs (typical from Amsterdam) need some hiking skills. Maybe it should be taking into account if you are an old person, or you have some injuries.
8.8
LC Hamm- The hotel is close to the museums, the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino (if that is something that interests you.), to the bus tour, river cruise. It was easy to walk to these places as long as you watch out for the bicycles It is also close to a tram stop so you don t have to walk far to initially get there.
- The only bad thing was the room was cold. It still has the high ceilings from being a house, the windows leaked cold air, and the radiator wasn t able to provide enough warmth.
8.8
Petr Kovaricek- Perfect service, very good breakfasts, perfekt situation,
- tearing up stairs,

M. Please.- Silent hotel.
- Internet connection, pay for it

Muñoz Tormo- Very helpful staff :) and very near museums and tram stops.
- No elevator with veeeery steep stairs. Expensive parking.
9.2
truffledog- Cosy, clean, quiet and very convenient for the museums. A memorably good apple at breakfast plus polite and attentive service.
- Lighting and arrangement of the mirror in the bathroom slightly awkward and shower a bit feeble. For some reason, for two nights out of three, my bed was made with the duvet tucked in sideways, but easy enough to turn it round.
5.6
Norway- Good location!
- The hotel should inform the guest about the steps in the hotel. They were very, very steep!
7.4
nik- good location quiet at night
- beds are really soft

Brilliant- This hotel might be one of the best ones in town. I imagine it being very hard to get a similar well equipped hotel room for that price. The rooms are very clean and quite newly furnished, the staff is helpful and it takes a 30-40 minute walk to the center through a nice part of the city. The location is a quiet neighbourhood but it's only a five/ten minute walk to a bar/cafe/restaurant area. The small double room at the top floor is very nice, the bed is a real double and the mattress is a lit
- Not good for people who are physically handicapped cause the stairs are quite narrow and steep - this is quite normal for dutch houses though. :)
8.2
marco- sfeervol hotel
- er is meer werk voor de schoonmaker dan wordt gedaan
