Hotel details:
Apeldoorn is the largest city in the nature area of De Veluwe, and is celebrated as the residence of the Dutch royal family. Queen Wilhelmina used to live in Paleis Het Loo, which is now open as a national museum. Those who enjoy walking or cycling will love the nearby Veluwe. Guests can explore this national park on white bikes that are freely available here. And well worth visiting in this park is the Kröller-Müller Museum, with its wonderful modern art collection.
An extensive breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:00 until 09:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 10:30. The restaurant is open on weekdays from 11:00 until 23:00. At weekends the restaurant is open until 22:00. The bar is open for drinks until 23:30.
The woody surroundings of De Hoge Veluwe National are perfect for those who love walking and cycling. Culture buffs can visit Het Loo Palace or the Kröller-Müller Museum, situated in the middle of the national park. Apeldoorn has several beautiful neighbourhoods with many listed buildings, including the Park District. What's more, the Apenheul monkey zoo and the Julianatoren theme park are only a short distance from the hotel.

P Bijsterveld- Comfortable room Beautiful new bathroom with walk-in shower Fantastic breakfast Helpful staff
- Mattress possibly not the best quality Room quite dark due to black furniture and limited lighting Evening meal menu a little limited esp if you are vegetarian
9.8
P Bijsterveld- Large comfortable room Very friendly and helpful staff Good location Value for money
- Service rather slow during evening meal. However, I have often eaten here and this has not happened before. I think our waiter may have been rather new to the job.
9.4
B C Lierman- Cleanliness, flexibility of staff, location. It took a little while to understand the controls since this was our first green hotel stay, but we applaud the efforts to reduce consumption.
- We were never quite able to control the temperature in the room to our satisfaction, but we were still comfortable. We felt somewhat captive to the rather expensive menu, but were able to find some other choices within a 15-minute walk.

Anon- nice big fluffy pillows reasonably close to center quiet hallways
- wall socket placement is a bit strange. bathroom TL light made clicking noises

Waite- The staff at Het Loo are friendly and attentive and went out of their way to assist. I would stay here again based solely on the level of service provided by the staff - Helen, Michael and everyone.

Henriksen- It was my first stay at you hotel. I arrive late in the evening so I not any opinion about the location, the 5 (neutral) the staff was excellent and friendly.
- Without asking you charged me for two breakfasts, I was alone!

LEGGETT- Good location to visit the royal palace ( 5 minute walk) Bus stop to the town centre adjacent, or walk ( 25/30 minutes)
- This is a 'business hotel' and they advertise free wifi but it does NOT connect if using Outlook, even after logging on to the hotel's server. The hotels in the group apparently closed it down because of the amount of 'scam' they were getting. Not surprised !!! My room was so small that sitting on bed end was the way to use 'the desk' and don't rush into the bathroom!! The door just clears the WC pan!! Food? Eat out !! Quality and price is not for the tourist.Only for business men's a

Brown- Has a smoking room with TV. For me, top marks.
- Would have liked the swimming pool to be a bit deeper.
