“Dissatisfied ”
  • Restaurant was ok qua food
  • There was refurbishment of the bottom floor , which meant all you could hear was drilling and hammering . We had booked for two nights but left after one night due to the building work . I asked for compensation for one night but was told the building work will stop at 14 00 on Friday so just stay As you can imagine we were lost for words and just wanted to leave . The Carona rules with the complex were also very poorly executed and staff were standing around in a group of three or four instead of implementing social hygiene with the complex. Really disappointed ....

“Wonderful Spa, Luxurious Hotel BUT hallways are crazy loud”
  • Wonderful spa. You can walk into the spa in your bathrobe, straight from your hotel room. Luxurious look and feel to the room. Extra blankets, big thick towels, comfi bed. Shower and toilet are separate bathrooms (big plus ) Very extensive breakfast buffet. The restaurant (dinner) is o.k. but not great - nothing special. If you have food sensitivities they will adjust meals for you but there is no special allergen menu so it might mean that sauces etc are left out of your meal. This is a bit disappointing bc it 39 s a wellness hotel (I asked for gluten free - a common allergen)
  • The hallway is VERY loud. Anyone walking down the hallway sounds like a stomping elephant. So there is constant noise as long as people are awake. I slept badly because of this. This is a pity because apart from this, sound isolation is fine (you don 39 t hear people in the room nextdoor etc)

“As usual nice stay in a nice area”
  • Nice hotel with large and modern rooms, very comfortable the direct access to the spa. Very nice locations around with Arcen, Straelen and other cities.
  • Breakfast is ok, but could be more diverse (especially after 7th stay in hotel) . I always struggle with the beds as they are more 2 small single beds than one double bed... But these are really small issues against the overall very positive stays -)
