Deep in the woods of the Dutch province of Friesland lies Landgoed Lauswolt. The villa was built in 1868 by the Frisian nobility. The 5-star hotel still breathes that stately atmosphere. The rooms are all located in the former 'old house', the wings, and the coach house. The spacious rooms of the hotel all offer the utmost comfort. Landgoed Lauswolt lies in the midst of Frisian woods and heaths, in the town of Beetsterzwaag. The town's character used to be determined by the nobility that used to live there. The various estates and historic mansions still testify to this stately past. In the surroundings you will find picturesque towns and lakes that are perfect for sailing. By bike you can also wonderfully explore the Frisian countryside and enjoy the scenery.
