The lunch buffet is served daily in Restaurant De Barones, and includes a 'soup of the season', various sliced meats, Dutch and French cheeses, and a selection of quality breads and rolls. In addition, there is a varying choice of 6 hot meals per day as well as a choice of delicious, fresh salads. Fresh fruit is also available. In the evening hours you can take a seat in Restaurant De Barones where you can delight in an exquisite dinner comprising seasonal dishes. For instance, Zeeland mussels in summer, game in winter, and a hearty traditional Dutch pea soup known as 'snert' during sub-zero temperatures. Dietary preferences can be taken into account on request. There is a special children's menu (Timo Toekan) and a play area. What's more, you can enjoy your meal on the outdoor terrace during nice weather.

Hotel van der Valk Breda is situated on the edge of the Princenhage district. The Liesbos woods are only 1.5 kilometres away and offer the perfect place for walking or cycling in all seasons. You can also take a trip to the exuberant city of Breda, the centre of which is just a 5-minute drive away. This fortified city houses exceptional listed buildings such as the Spanjaardsgat water gate, the Duiventoren (Dovecote), the Granaattoren (Artillery Tower), not to mention Breda's impressive castle. Other interesting cities, such as Rotterdam, Antwerp and Roosendaal are just a 30-minute drive away.

The hotel offers ample parking with a large car park at the front and at the rear of the hotel.
