Hotel Rose Red Brugge

Hotel details:

In 2002 Bruges was the Cultural Capital of Europe and the city has a wide range of museums that reflect the history of the city. The museum collections of Bruges offer great variety: from Flemish Primitives to modern art and from the classical fine arts to archaeological finds. The Flemish Primitives are known worldwide, but you will find the best overview of their work in their home region Flanders.

The breakfast buffet is served between 08:00 andl 10:00 h. (in winter from 08:30 h). The cosy hotel bar is open until 23:00 h. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are many excellent restaurants in the city centre.

There many interesting sights near Hotel Cordoeanier Brugge. You can explore the city in different ways: on foot, by horse-drawn carriage, by bus, or you can take a boat trip on the 'reien' (canals). The old Hanseatic city smells of chocolate all year round, and there is even a chocolate museum: Choco-Story. The inventive chocolatiers prepare many pounds of the delicious city pralines that are called 'Brugse Zwaantjes' (swans of Bruges).

  • The owner and staff are so very friendly, helpful and concerned for your comfort. The breakfast was a real plus. This is an older hotel and one must keep that in mind. However, it is very clean and the location is excellent. Wi-fi setup was the best I have encountered so far in my travels.
  • There is no lift, which is not uncommon. However, as we \"age is a state of mind\" folks begin to creak a little more and have various joints replaced, this could become a problem.

  • Perfect location - in a quiet street, but very close to the hub of Brugge. Manager/Owner was very helpful and friendly. Having a bar on site was convenient and relaxing and the breakfast was very good.
  • Rooms were quite small.

  • It is a very cosy hotel in the center of Brugge. If you want to be in the middle of things and just a bed is enough, this is the place to stay. The personel is welwilling and nice.
  • The rooms are to a minimum. The are small but clean.

  • Very friendly staff, hotel has a very homely feel to it. Excellent breakfast.
  • The bed in our room was a bit small (as was the room itself), but I guess you can\'t expect that much from a budget hotel.
