Close to the central market square of Bruges lies the friendly and cosy hotel Gulden Vlies. The hotel is established in a stately mansion that was built in the early 20th century and it has some unique Art-Deco architectural details.
The delicious breakfast buffet is served daily in the breakfast room on the ground floor from 08:00 to 10:00 h. With its high ceiling, wooden flooring and paintings this room is an attractive place to eat your first meal of the day.
In 2000 the UNESCO put the entire historic city centre of Bruges on the World Heritage List. There are several museums that tell the history of this city, such as the 'Gruuthuse', 'Gentpoort', the Belfry and City Hall. Hotel Gulden Vlies is situated at a 10-minute walk from the 'Grote Markt' (central market).

- Within the city of Brugge, 10 minutes walk to the centre, excellent breakfast. Definitely would commend. And loved Brugge Great city. Definitely go cycling in the country side - just beautiful
