The hotel was originally a privately owned family hotel which nowadays combines the family like hospitality with various modern facilities. “Nice hotel for business and weekend trip.”

Perfect breakfast, friendly staff, nice room
Temperature control in room was poor. Too warm, no airco.

“I will never come back again”

situation was good for seeing the centre informatio at the desk was good
We checked out one night earlyer because of problems in the familie. In the hurry we left one long throusers from my friend. We made several telefone calls but they told us there were no trousers left. WE did not like this because we were sure we left it behind. I asked to send it back and we should pay the cost of course. So we did not like this at all and won't come back again.

“Hotel has lost family run friendly atmosphere and needs refurbishing”

It is in Brussels!!
the rooms are deteriorating (I have stayed before) They close the lounge bar very early 22:00 one night and Saturday it was not oipen at all. Obviously they do not wish to make a profit as there were 40 people meeting up there and had to go out to socialise. Generally the hotel has gone downhill recently, food remains good though meeting rooms have poor ventilation or airconditioning.

“Centrally located, has seen better days, no parking for people carrier”

Directly in the centre of town, two minutes' walk from the Grand' Place and other sights. Very nice reception area with extremely friendly and helpful personnel. After checking out we were allowed to leave our luggage in the reception area for a couple of hours so we had more time for sightseeing.
Extremely soft beds, therefore very uncomfortable. Although clean, the bathroom looked dirty because everything was old. No toilet brush in the bathroom. Breakfast buffet was ok but nothing special - reminded me of a package holiday. The double room was very small. Although the hotel offered parking, our Ford Galaxy was too high and we couldn't park it there. Instead we had to park in a car park near the main postoffice which was about ten minutes' walk away but, in the end, turned out to be cheaper than the car park offered by the hotel. Most of the lifts were out of order and the one that was working made very strange noises and was bumpy.

“Good Hotel when price is right”

Room was reasonable size. Breakfast was very good. Check-in and out was efficient. Location not bad for Grand Platz provided you didn\'t mind a 10minute walk. Price was OK (discounted rate of 114Euro/night), certainly not worth 200+Euro.
Room was hot, no aircon to cool down just a tower fan (which worked OK). TV channels choice was poor. I really really dislike having to pay extra for wireless in a 4* Hotel, feel like I\'m being cheated.

The location was good, very near the \'Grote Markt\'.
Hygiene was poor: when cleaning the breakfast tables, the cutlery which was considered to be clean, was left on the tables, and afterwards, when making the tables, the \'clean\' cutlery was placed on the chairs! Next to that, breakfast was until 10.30, but there are almost no made tables at 10.15, and no personnel to guide you to a table. Further, when you are having breakfast the personnel is already clearing the tables, using a garbage bin, placing it on the table or on the chairs! Furthermore, in the room there was a pair of shoes of former visitors under the bed, indicating bad cleaning. The room was not in a good state, since the curtains had been teared, and stitched several times.

Very good location with a parking facility. In principle, it is a nice hotel, however...
...worn out by now (original carpets in the rooms, lifts not working, and have a look at the seams between the tiles in the bathrooms...). Furthermore, the room was cold during night.
