Hotel Huize Koningsbosch Castricum is an ''Adults Only'' four-star hotel and is located in the middle of the North Holland dune reserve. The hotel is just 3.5 kilometres from the sea, and a 30-minute drive from Amsterdam. The hotel is established on the premises of the Netherland's very first youth hostel. In 2015, this monumental building was renovated and converted into a hotel and restaurant. With a respect for the environment, the hotel makes use of CO2 neutral biomass heating and exclusively uses LED lighting. Furthermore, all dishes served in the restaurant are prepared using organic and regional produce.

Breakfast is served daily in the restaurant from 08:00 until 10:00. The restaurant is established in a monumental central hall, which has been transformed into a modern restaurant. The original open hearth, stained glass windows and folding benches have been preserved. Lunch is served in the restaurant from Monday to Saturday from 12:00 until 15:00, diner between 18:00 and 21:00. The restaurant is also open for dinner on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The restaurant's kitchen primarily uses organic and regional produce.

The hotel is situated in the middle of the North Holland dune reserve. Bike hire is available at the hotel, enabling you to take beautiful trips through the Dutch countryside.Or you can walk through the dunes; the sea is just 3.5 kilometres from the hotel. Cities such as Alkmaar, Amsterdam and Haarlem are all a 30-minute drive away.
