And a mere 20-minute drive from the hotel will take you and the kids to Avonturenpark Hellendoorn or Attractiepark Slagharen.

- The diner was great and well priced, there was a walking tour of about 10K starting and finishing at the hotel, typical landscape for teh region and very quiet

- Some rooms are quite dark due to being low in ground and surrounding trees, but this is only a very minor thing.

- Bed soft & sagging - so bad slept on floor second night. Waited over an hour for main course at dinner not acceptable regardless of the reason.

- Characterless. Not very friendly. Not very helpful. Key system not very Guest-Friendly. No tea/coffee facility. No refrigeration. Restaurant fully booked, so had to travel to eat. TV channel choice limited.
