Hotel Tatenhove lies on one of the most beautiful sites of the island Texel and is surrounded by nature. A large garden with terraces surrounds the hotel and from the terrace, the sun room and from a large part of the rooms you can enjoy the magnificent view. Around the hotel various animals are held; there's an aviary, ponies, goats and tame and wild ducks.

The excellent breakfast buffet is ready each morning. You can dine at the hotel; a daily changing 3-course menu is served. In the kitchen only daily fresh products are used. For a drink before or after dinner you can visit the hotel bar.

The largest Wadden island Texel has many faces. The beach, the Wadden Sea, friendly villages, interesting museums and beautiful nature where you can walk or cycle to your heart's desire... They all have their own charm, throughout the year. For instance, visit the Texel brewery where the white beer Texels Wit is made, the Maritiem Museum or the shipwreck and beach combers museum and listen to the beach combers stories. Also Ecomare, a shelter for seals and birds, is definately worth visiting.
