Hotel Landgoed Rhederoord is the perfect spot for a peaceful stay. You can take beautiful walking or cycling trips in the Veluwezoom National Park. A bench in the village - next to the bronze statue of the Dutch writer Simon Carmiggelt and his wife - provides you with the best view of the River IJssel. De Steeg is one of seven villages which make up the municipality of Rheden, and is well worth visiting for its architecture alone.

Breakfast is available on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:00. The restaurant serves dishes comprising fresh, regional ingredients. The restaurant is open daily for dinner from 17:00 until 21:00.

The town of Doesburg is only 7 kilometres from the village of De Steeg, and is one of seven Hanseatic towns situated along the River IJssel. Doesburg has a beautiful historical centre with an abundance of restored monuments as well as lovely shops and restaurants.

De Steeg is only a 15-minute drive from Arnhem, where you'll find plenty of shops and museums. Burgers' Zoo and the Netherlands Open Air Museum are also highly recommended. After a busy day away from Landgoed Rhederoord, you can return for some relaxation in peaceful and splendid natural surroundings.
