The 3-star Hotel Grand Canal is situated on one of Delft's most idyllic locations. The building's vaults and bars are reminiscent of its past as a prison. Delft railway station lies within 150 metres of the hotel and offers good train, bus, and trams links to all major locations in the area.
A breakfast buffet is available on weekdays from 07:30 until 09:30, on Saturday from 09:00 until 10:30, and on Sunday from 09:00 until 11:00.
Delft is renowned for its delftware. The 'Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles' is the only remaining 17th century delftware factory, which is now also open as a museum. From the Hotel Grand Canal it's just a short stroll to the market square where you can see the 'Nieuwe Kerk' church and splendid town hall. The 'Oude Kerk' church is also well worth a visit. Apart from being a historic city, Delft is also a real student city with a vibrant nightlife. What's more, the nearby A4 and A13 motorways offer good connections to Leiden, Rotterdam, The Hague, and Amsterdam.

“My go-to choice for Delft”
- I am in Delft once a month on business and this is an excellent hotel for this. 3 minutes from the station, 10 minutes walk to the university, 5 minutes to the town centre. Decent breakfast, small but comfortable perfectly serviced rooms. The gallery sitting room is a nice plus when I have to sit and do some work.
