The Wijngaard de Kroon van Texel is located on the picturesque Wadden Island of Texel. As one of the northernmost vineyards in the Netherlands and the only one in the Wadden, this location not only offers a unique wine experience, but also luxurious bed & breakfast accommodation. The 8,500 vines include varieties such as Johaniter, Solaris, Riesel and Regent, and during guided tours, owners Marleen Hoogenbosch and Jan Jaap Kroon share their expertise on the grape varieties, the history of the vineyard, the growth and flowering of the grapes and the winemaking process. After the tour you can taste the wines.
