Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade lies in between The Hague and Scheveningen. The hotel is easily accessible from the A12 and A44 motorways. Tram 1 departs in front of the hotel, which will take you to the centre of The Hague or the promenade of Scheveningen within several minutes. It is also possible to hire a bike or scooter at reception, either for half a day or a full day. At the start of the day you can take a walk through the surrounding Van Stolkpark. The World Forum, the Peace Palace, Madurodam and the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag are all within walking distance, as is The Hague's business district. The hotel has extensive parking facilities, a large outdoor terrace and various multifunctional conference rooms. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire hotel. Delicious food and drinks can be enjoyed in the LEO's International Flavours. You can relax in the Promenade HealthClub & Spa, situated underneath the hotel and measuring 900 m². Surroundings
Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade has a convenient location for business travellers. The World Forum Convention Centre and the Peace Palace are located within a 1 kilometre radius. The Hague city centre is also easy to reach, where the Escher Museum in the Palace and the Dutch parliament (Binnenhof) are situated. A visit to the IMAX film theatre, Omniversum, is also recommended. Scheveningen has nice restaurants, bars, a casino and many beach pavilions (open during peak season).
Food and Drink
Breakfast is available on Monday to Friday from 06:30 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 11:30. LEO's International Flavours is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Spoil yourself with a glass of Zarb champagne and sample a few delicious bites. Six or seven of these small dishes are equal to a main dish; a fun way of experiencing little explosions of flavour sensations. In the summer months, you can enjoy a lunch or dinner on the outdoor terrace. Room service is available 24 hours a day.

Service was nice :-)
room which i got was located in an old building. the room was ugly, old and demaged. for example: the lamp was cracked, TV does not work. after making a complaint, i received a room in the new part of the building, and that part of hotel was 5 stars!
breakfast was poor :-(

Staff were friendly.
Crumbs on the seat in my room immediately after check-in. Ridiculous "entertainment package" that makes you pay for basic TV channels you get for free in other hotels.

Location
Internet not working (wireless and in room computer), air conditioning fan on balcony outside room (very loud), Pay TV not working correctly, bar closed for re-modeling, small bathroom, iron board broken, no travel plugs available, booked double room and got twin, towels / robe for 1 person only, expensive car park, very basic room decoration, dull concrete balcony, dusty furniture, breakfast auto added to bill, etc etc etc. Basically this hotel had many 'small faults' that should not be an issue in a "5 star" hotel and so many minor issues added up to a rather expensive and unimpressive stay.

Fairly clean, good service from most of the staff and located fairly centrally for both the beach and city centre
Had issues with our check in as the receptionist tried to tell me that a "double room" was the same as a "twin room" and wanted to argue the point for over 15 minutes. Duty manager resolved the situation immediately after an initial stand off with the receptionist.
Hotel was reasonably priced taking the discount we got from hotels. nl but wouldn't stay here paying the full rack rate.

(209) Badkamer ietwat verouderd, voegen in badkamer zouden opnieuw gevoegd moeten worden. Bedden wat zacht.
