Hotel de Villa is housed in a 19th-century villa in a beautiful old park. The villa was once the dwelling house of the tannery. This industry created a lot of wealth in Dongen. Though this industry disappeared in the sixties, Hotel de Villa has preserved its authentic character. This hotel's enjoyable atmosphere and its hospitality are sure to make you feel at home.
Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 09:30. From 10:00, you are welcome at Brasserie Restaurant Winkk for a bite to eat. This is also the right place for a tasty dinner. The kitchen is open from 18:00 until 21:00, while the bar is open from 10:00 until 23:00.
Hotel de Villa is located in the Brabant town of Dongen, which is a stone's throw away from the bustling cities Breda, Den Bosch and Tilburg. In the wooded area around the hotel there are several hiking and biking tracks. The 'Loon en Drunense Duinen' dunes are well-known in the area, displaying the biggest sand drifts in Europe. It is approximately a half-hour drive from the hotel to Rotterdam, Eindhoven or Antwerp.

“Our stay in Dongen ”
- Good central location. Wonderful staff. Very nice restaurant. Quaint hotel with a nice park in the back. Free parking
- Bed was two twins together. In North America we have Double,Queen or King beds. All Hotels in Europe seem to have these and I think if you all want to get more visitors from North America this needs to change Small room. No facecloth or kleenex in bathroom

“Friendly atmosphere, good food and value for money.”
- Very friendly, staff made you feel at home and nothing was to much trouble. Food was well prepared. This was a business trip and if needed we would differently use the hotel again.
- Limited breakfast but was okay for our needs. No coffee/ tea making facilities in room.

- Friendly staff, clean & good sized rooms, good location if you want to stay in or near Dongen.
- Only a minor thing, how about a hotel sign visible from the road, all you can see is the "WInk" restaurant sign, so we drove round the village thinking we were at the wrong place !

“We LOVED this hotel!”
- We really loved this hotel and were sad that we had not booked more time in this wonderful place. The staff were extremley helpful despite our terrible attempt at the language. The food was excellent, our breakfast was superb! The rooms were decorated to a high spec and we both had a 'jaw dropping' moment when we walked in! Considering the price we were amazed at the attention to detail. The bathrooms were clean and stylishly decorated and I wanted to stay there forever!! The town itself is beautiful and if you enjoy walking or cycling you will have plenty to do. We would happily stay there again and are already making plans to return.
