Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Doorwerth-Arnhem is a wonderful family hotel on the Veluwe, between the cities of Arnhem and Wageningen. Children will have a great time here! Whether it's swimming in the fantastic indoor pool, playing tennis, or cycling or playing in the beautiful green surroundings. Use of the heated indoor swimming pool, the outdoor swimming pool in the summer months, the tennis court, the sauna and the gym is free. A surcharge applies for the sunbed.
All rooms come with WiFi, tea and coffee facilities, a television and comfortable beds. The en-suite bathrooms feature toiletries, a hairdryer, a toilet and a shower. Several rooms also have a bath. In addition to a variety of Double Rooms, the hotel offers Family Rooms. The Family Rooms and Junior Suites are approx. 40m2 and feature a sofa bed for a maximum of two children.
Surroundings
To the north of Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Doorwerth-Arnhem lies De Hoge Veluwe National Park, with its 13,500 acres of woods, heaths, meres, and sand drifts. The park also houses the famous Kröller-Müller Museum with its sculpture garden. Children and animal lovers can visit the Apenheul monkey zoo, the Burger's Zoo, and the Ouwehands Zoo. The beautiful castle of Doorwerth, which dates from the year 1280, is also situated close to the hotel. What's more, the nearby city of Arnhem is perfect for shopping enthusiasts.
Food and Drink
An extensive breakfast buffet is served in the morning, with a variety of breads and fillings, fresh fruit, fruit juices and dairy products. The buffet is available on Monday to Friday from 07:00 until 10:00, on Saturday from 07:30 until 10:30, and on Sunday and public holidays from 07:30 until 11:30. For lunch, you can choose from a variety of dishes. An extensive lunch buffet is also set up on Monday to Friday, subject to availability. Head chef Gojko Milosevic and his team prepare a diverse range of tasty dishes. Dinner is served from 17:30, and the kitchen closes at 21:00. The circular restaurant offers a beautiful view of the surrounding park.

Children/extra beds: Children under 11 years old can stay free of charge, on the basis of bed and breakfast. Breakfast buffet and large grounds to wander around plus a nice terrace.
The room was a little tired looking however still good value for the price paid. Bath with a shower is dated.

The bathroom is too out of date.
The family room provided only 2 breakfast.--Which is not mentioned in the booking!

Probably the best night's sleep I've ever had in a hotel. The location is beautiful; the hotel is clean and bright. Hotel staff all spoke English to a very high standard and were very helpful.
When we got there, the third bed was not made up; however, once we let reception know, this was rectified within 15 minutes and therefore can't be faulted.

Location and environment, felt very spacious and staff polite anf freindly. Restaurant very nice and reasonable.
midway through renovation whuich was not mentioned on booking and work commenced at 7.30am using machinery.

De familiesuite zag er keurig uit en de kamer was heerlijk rustig.
Water van het zwembad heel vies. In eerste instantie verkeerde (mindere kamer) gekregen. Werd na klacht overgeboekt. Fitnessruimte bleek niet meer aanwezig te zijn.

de ligging van het hotel is super, de tuin is heerlijk, maar helaas is het hotel vergane glorie. Bij aankomst lag er een kopie over een doorstart en modernisering, dat voorspelde al niet veel goeds..
De suite is absoluut niet luxe en is gedateerd. Geen airco. Wel ruim. Het onbijt is superstandaard en zonder enige fantasie. Het personeel is aanwezig, maar er straalt niets vanuit, (waarschijnlijk te maken met de doorstart?)Het zwembad lag vol haar en ook de bar was niet erg schoon. Kortom, jammer van de geweldige ligging en als je niet voor luxe en kwaliteit gaat, dan is het prima te doen. Wat zou ik graag een ontwerp maken voor een hotel op zo\'n prachtige, ruime lokatie.
