Van der Valk Hotel Drachten enjoys a convenient location, near the A7 motorway. Lunch and dinner are served in the restaurant and the brasserie. An extensive brunch is available in the restaurant every Sunday. And reservations can be made for a delicious High Tea, which is available daily in the brasserie. Drinks and tea and coffee are served in the hotel bar. With its handy location and 10 multifunctional rooms, this hotel is very suitable for business meetings. The spacious, attractive hotel rooms come with a comfortable bed, a bathroom with a bath and/or shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. The rooms also feature climate control, a flatscreen TV, a desk, a telephone, a sitting area, an automatic wake-up system, a safe, and free wireless internet. The hotel is next to a bowling centre and has a gym with a treadmill, a hometrainer, and a crosstrainer. Bike hire is available at the hotel, enabling you to explore the surroundings. Food and Drink
You can enjoy an extensive continental breakfast buffet on Monday to Friday between 06:30 and 10:00, and at weekends between 07:00 and 10:30. The attractive à la carte restaurant, with a seating capacity of 120, serves delicious dinner dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. The restaurant offers a special children's menu. The roof terrace is open for dinner during the summer months. You can also book a table for brunch, available every Sunday between 11:30 and 14:00, with a selection of hot and cold dishes, including soups, bread rolls, and salads. A welcome reception with a complimentary cocktail is held at 11:30. Children up to 3 years old can stay free of charge, and children up to 11 years old will receive an attractive discount. You can enjoy a delicious lunch, a light bite, and a drink in the brasserie and bar, or an aperitif by the fireplace.

Very friendly and helpful service!
For a hotel that has 4 stars, the room seemed to be a bit of a disappointment - no coffee making facilities, WLAN is extra.

A sudden need of annulation did not cause any problems

v.d.Valk Drachten especially the new part is very comfortable.
Entrance for car park to new hotel section difficult especially in dark winter times. Restaurant both breakfast and dinner needs improvement. The latter in comparison with other v.d.Valk hotels.

I HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL MANY TIMES FOR THE WORLD SUPERBIKES AT ASSEN AND AGAIN THIS YEAR I HAVE TO SAY WE HAD A VERY ENJOYABLE WEEKEND.
