Hotel du Soleil Duinbergen is a comfortable family-run hotel on the North Sea coast, within walking distance of Knokke-Heist centre. Children are very welcome at this cosy hotel, and fun boardgames are available in the lounge/reading area. There is a playground at the hotel, and the attractive golf course: het Zwin en Sluis, is only 500 m from the hotel. Taking your bikes with you is no problem at all, as the hotel has a bike shed.

You can have breakfast on weekdays from 07:00 to 10:00 h, and at weekends from 08:00 to 11:00 h. It is also possible to order a packed lunch, on request.The hotel´s restaurant serves dishes from the Belgian-French cuisine, à la carte as well as an attractive menu. It is recommended to make dinner reservations in advance. On sunny days guests can dine on the outdoor terrace. Drinks and the hotel´s delicious signature cocktail are available at the hotel bar, open daily from 12:00 to 22:00 h.

Walkers, cyclists, surfers and kite flyers will all appreciate a stay at Hotel du Soleil Duinbergen. The beach and dunes can be found within 50 m of the hotel. It is a beautiful environment, where you can enjoy the sea air during every season. Knokke has the most to offer, with its shops on the Lippenslaan (open daily), as well as many markets, such as the Folklore Market. There are also many festivals such as the annual free rock-pop festival, Kneistival, and the International Fireworks Festival. It is also fun to pay a visit to the Casino Knokke and the Cultural Centre of Knokke-Heist. The interesting Sincafala Museum can be found in Heist, and is a good place to learn all about the history and the harsh lives of Heist's local fishermen and their families. You can even climb onto an original prawn barge in the museum's garden. For an historical city trip, you can visit the nearby city of Bruges, or the Dutch cities of Middelburg and Vlissingen, which are a little further away.
