- On our way to Groningen my wife and I wanted a nice dinner in restaurant Het Planken Wambuis and Hotel de Bosrand was close and had an excellent price offer. Clearly not a cozy hotel but very much geared to conventions and groups, however it worked fine for us. The staff was very friendly, the room comfortable, all we needed was there (except tissues in the bathroom or room), and breakfast was great.

- I tremendously enjoyed being able to use the free internet service available in the hotel. The breakfasts included were wonderful and I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again AND I highly recommend it! The hotel is in a wonderful location and the staff was great.
- Coming from Canada it was odd to see a single bed when I arrived, but after my first night sleep, I actually enjoyed it!

- No facilities (bar closed). Only few (RTL4, CNN, Eurosport, TV5) television channels worked in the room. Breakfast from 7.30 till 9.00 is a very small window: too late for me and too early for others. Very minimalistic room decoration.
