Examples of these are residential towers like the Porthos, the Regent, the Vesteda tower, and the Admirant. The Vesteda tower is even reminiscent of the famous Flat-Iron Building on Broadway in New York. The St. Catharina Church on the square of the same name is a good example of a Neo-Gothic building and was built around 1859.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available between 06:30 and 9:30 on Monday through Friday and between 07:00 and 10:00 on Saturday and Sunday. The cosy restaurant is open from 18:00 until 21:30. The chef serves several specials, but guests can also make their choice from the à la carte menu, which offers a broad selection of light starters, meat and fish main courses and delicious desserts. You can enjoy a drink at the bar, before or after dinner and the terrace is a perfect spot to sit and savour a drink on lovely sunny days.

Eindhoven is near the Belgian and German border, close to Tilburg and Helmond. The surroundings are woody and have many nature areas, among which the 'Strabrechtse heaths.'
