Lightotel Eindhoven is a budget hotel close to the centre of Eindhoven. Both the High Tech Campus and the city centre lie within a 15-minute walk of the hotel. The comfortable rooms come with a refrigerator, a flatscreen television with cable and WiFi Internet. The Deluxe Rooms feature an en suite bathroom and a toilet. You can also make use of the fully equipped shared kitchen. The hotel offers a laundry/ironing service.

The hotel does not have a bar or restaurant and does not serve breakfast. However, there are many nice restaurants and cafés in the centre of Eindhoven. The entertainment area around the Stratumseind is particularly popular at night.

Lightotel Eindhoven is conveniently located for business and leisure travellers visiting either the High Tech Campus or the city centre of what's known as the Dutch 'City of Lights'. You can take a stroll through Genneper Park or City Park in west Eindhoven, or visit the famous Van Abbe Museum. Eindhoven is great for shopping, in particular, the shops in the Piazza Centre and the shopping streets in the 'Heuvel Galerie' district.

“Excellent price quality ratio”

The room (with toilet and shower) was clean and of sufficient size. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is located only about 10-15 minutes by bus from the city center and there are 3 bus lines stopping very close to the hotel (Korianderstraat bus lines 7, 17, 173). Price quality ratio of this budget hotel is excellent compared to the other hotels in Eindhoven.
The stairs are very steep (no elevator) and small. There was even a small refrigerator in the room but unfortunately it did not work. The mostly young hotel guests can be a bit noisy during the night.

“it s not a hotel”

the place is very laid back, it has basically no reception, and is located very closely to the city centre. the hotel has very cheap fares, we found them to be even cheaper than the hostels we had found online
it was surprising to find out that the hotel was more like a hostel, with a shared kitchen. we stayed in room 2 and we could smell the cigarette smokes coming from outside (the room has a door which leads to the backyard). also, its walls are extremely thin, we could hear everything going on in the kitchen, though at night the hotel gets very very quiet

“Simple and comfortable”

Clean, comfortable, bright, tidy. Sink, fridge, table and chairs in the room, WC and shower (incl.washing machine and dryer) just near our room. Small kitchen downstairs with all you need. Place outside city center, rather calm. Accessible via bus from central station.
Had to call to check-in (not a big deal really); window was to the street - noisy.

“Budget hotel, next to bus stop, room is ok but bathroom needs care !”

The room was small but warm and tidy.
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, still walkable but not too great in the cold. The room I slept in was actually further than the address of the hotel where I was only given the key. The shared bathroom was not super clean, and there was no toilet paper !

the manager was very helpfull and it was close to to the city etc. parking was very good too, was impressed when chris the manager bought a carry cot specially for my 7 month old son
bed was bit uncomvertable and pilow not the best

Renovated, comfortable rooms, internet connection. Interesting self service breakfast.
It\'s pretty good hostel, but not a hotel. They don\'t have a reception and this can make a trouble sometime.

Cheap and clean.
The advertisment is very misleading. I had a job to find it even though it is in a main road. It really should not be adbvertised as a hotel it is more a hostel/ converted house only suitable for students. Even though it is cheap it is not a hotel.
