"The oldest inn in Twente" - Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant de Broeierd Enschede - is located on the fringes of Enschede. The hotel is ideally situated for either a business trip (with the University of Twente, the Business and Science Park, and Grolsch Veste stadium all nearby) or a relaxing break in the beautiful nature-abundant region of Twente. The bus, which stops directly in front of the hotel, will take you into the centre of Enschede in no time at all. The modern restaurant with its enjoyable (heated) outdoor terrace is open daily from 16:00 onwards. Free parking and a bike shelter are available at the hotel. The luxurious beauty salon in the hotel's basement offers a complete range of beauty treatments (advance reservations required). The hotel has spacious, comfortable rooms that include free WiFi, a safe, a television, tea and coffee facilities, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower.
A delicious breakfast buffet is served in the Brasserie from Monday to Friday until 10:00, and on Saturday and Sunday until 11:00. The restaurant is open for dinner from 16:00. Mouthwatering dishes are prepared under the watchful eye of the head chef. And if the weather's good, you can also dine on the lovely (heated) terrace, where the chef will prepare delectable dishes in the outdoor kitchen.

“Outstanding Hotel”
- This hotel has really comfortable, almost luxirious rooms, which make you feel like at home Excellent hotel, excellent rooms, service and location I wish permanent prices ( no discount prices ) could be a little bit lower or sometimes the hotel could make special offers for young couples, for example.
- No negative impressions at all.

“Pleasant and comfort place to stay, especially if you need to rest”
- Nothing special, but this is also good thing because everything I expected I got there.
- We have small issue with payments, but this is solved same day and I'm satisfied with way they manage that.

“Nice place to stay”
- The hotel is located about 3 kilometres outside the city centre close to Twente University. The local bus stops outside and takes 6-10 mins to town. The ambiance in the hotel is very relaxing and the lounge and restaurant areas are excellent. The bedroom is fine and large as is the bathroom. The beds are comfortable and all is clean and well maintained. The service is good and the staff are friendly. We did not eat in the hotel but we spent a couple of evenings in the lounge and were very happy
- One small issue arose in relation to the soap/shampoo dispensers in the bathroom where 2 out of 3 failed to work and I reported them early on Saturday morning. The receptionist explained that they could not be fixed until Monday (when I was leaving)!!---very strange of a hotel not to have maintenance staff available over weekends, the busiest time. However on request she did provide small bottles of shower gel/shampoo. I would suggest the hotel change the dispensers which are not really suitable

- Uitstekende kamer, lekker ruim. Comfortabel bed. Ruime badkamer. Babybedje stond klaar zoals om gevraagd.
- Niet 100% schoon hoeslaken op bed aangetroffen. Zaten wat stofstrepen op.

“Clean rooms, well kept facilities, and a good breakfast!”
- Rooms were clean and in decent repair. The breakfast was excellent!
- The walls could be better insulated as we had some "rowdy" neighbours in the room next to us.

- -excellent front desk service -friendly personnel -nice two-room hotel room: the stair that brings you to the bedroom provides a unique atmosphere -closeby University of Twente -great breakfast
- -impossible to open a window in the bedroom -you need to pay for wifi -relatively far from the city centre (15 minute bus drive)

- Spacious, comfortable, well equipped bedroom, good breakfast buffet. Quiet room on lower floor was provided as requested.
- Bathroom washbasin partly blocked & smelly, tiles shabby. Limited evening menu, we were brought wrong dish, waiter did not ask whether meat should be rare or well done.
