The hospitable Hotel Eperland Epen lies on the edge of the centre of the picturesque village of Epen in the province of Limburg. From the outdoor terrace you have a lovely view of the green hilly landscape. The white building which houses the family-run hotel blends perfectly with its surroundings and the characteristic half-timbered houses of Epen. You will find brochures and information about places of interest at the reception.
A warm welcome awaits inside. Hotel staff will greet you with a congenial hospitality that this region is renowned for. The hotel's interior is refreshing and warm. All rooms are comfortably furnished with good beds and a bathroom with a bath or shower and a toilet. It is lovely to sleep in these peaceful rooms, most of which look out onto the beautiful surroundings.
Surroundings
Reception staff will gladly help you with planning excursions, for instance to the Drielandenpunt at Vaals, a lookout point with a view of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. At the Thermenmuseum in Heerlen you can admire the impressive remains of authentic Roman baths. At Thermae 2000 in Valkenburg you can enjoy the beneficial effects of the modern equivalent. Or how about a ride on an original steam train at Miljoenenlijn in Valkenburg, which stops at the entrance of a former coal mine, where you can take a guided tour through the mine's tunnels.For a day of shopping or some culture, you can take a trip to Maastricht, Aachen in Germany or Liège in Belgium.
Food and Drink
A breakfast buffet is served daily between 08:00 and 10:00 h. The restaurant is open from 18:00 h and also houses a cosy bar, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or something else from 10:00 h. It is nice to sit outside on one of the two outdoor terraces during warm weather, where you can enjoy the view as well as something tasty to eat or drink.
