Bilderberg Résidence Groot Heideborgh is in the heart of the Netherlands, in the middle of the Veluwe woods, on an estate of 27 acres. Step out of the hotel and straight into the woods or walk to the picturesque village of Garderen. The hotel furthermore offers bike hire at an additional charge.
Hotel guests can make use of the Clarins Gold Wellness Centre, where you can indulge in the very best of what wellness has to offer, such as a full beauty treatment with a massage or a (face) pack using quality products. The first-rate facilities furthermore include a heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and a solarium. Sporty guests can also play tennis here. The wellness facilities are available at an additional charge, while the swimming pool is free to all hotel guests.
The rooms have been atmospherically decorated and feature separate sitting and sleeping areas with comfortable beds. All rooms come with a bath and a shower and toilet, a desk, sofa and a safe.
Surroundings
The tourist information centre in Garderen offers a wide range of walking, cycling and driving routes, including walking trails through the woods and heathlands. Children will have a great time at the Koningin Julianatoren theme park in Apeldoorn. What's more, in the Apenheul, half of the monkeys are able to roam around among the visitors, making it a very special place to visit. The Apenheul is open from 1st April until 1st November. Het Loo Palace in Apeldoorn is the former residence of the Dutch royal family and highly recommended to visit.
Food and Drink
The Grand Café V functions as the hotel's living room, where you can read a book, drink a cup of coffee, or enjoy an aperitif with tasty bar snacks. The café also serves a traditional Dutch 'uitsmijter' (fried eggs and ham on slices of bread) as well as other lunch dishes. Restaurant Het Element serves seasonally inspired three or four-course dinners, with a different menu each day.

Great room with lots of space, bath tub and shower.
Everything was really nice, only small issue was that the room was quite warm. And maybe the sauna could use a minor upgrade.

Beautiful location in the forest and close to National Park 'De Hoge Veluwe', very friendly staff, and comfortable beds
Wellness center closes during the day for hotel guests, except for the ones with a beauty arrangement

in the middle of the forest, very nice location. The ambiance of the hotel is terrific. Breakfast was normal, but high quality.
the menu for dinner is somewhat limited, and the building is getting a bit older, it shows in some locations.

Big Room. Good breakfast. Pretty and quiet environment. Nice public areas. Good service from the male reception host.
No aircon, in summer it must be a nightmare. Small pool. EVERYTHING is extra. Expensive internet. Expensive Bike hire. Expensive food, better to stay on a DB&B deal!?

You can feel that they like to try to get the most out of everything. e.g. the koffie is very slack(?) and the food is very little for the ambiance and price. if you stay for dinner we suggest to book the \'brasserie\'.
The prices for all facilities are quite high.

Ontbijt was heel goed, ligging van het hotel heel mooi.
De kamer die we hadden was recht boven de keuken: veel herrie van personeel tot \'s avonds laat (aan het werk en buiten tijdens pauzes) en ontzettend HETE kamer.

Very quiet.
Hotel staff did not look like they care whether you have a nice stay or not. You are just a number on their book. The middle age waitress in the breakfast room treated guests like they were nuisance in a class room. Most guests look respectable and did not need to be treated like school children.

pets can stay and are made welcome - we liked that.
Pleasant friendly and very flexible service willing to help where ever possible.
I had mentioned in a conversation with the receptionist that it was a birthday and on arrival we had a complimentary bottle of wine with all pre-requests executed. We were very happy with our stay and i will reccommend the hotel for work functions and future weekend getaways in the country.
The only minus points were that the expectation was more luxury - suite was mentioned so my expectations were higher. Although there were nothing wrong with the rooms, just didn\'t have the feeling of luxury. But price vs. quality was exceptional.
